With only one truck and two accounts,
Rosedale Transport opens its first
terminal in Hamilton, Ontario

North Georgia Shippers was formed and provided service to customers in the Northeast, Midwest and Northwest from the carpet mills in North Georgia. Deliveries were done by drivers off the back of the truck.

Strict trucking regulations require that Rosedale submit applications to operating authorities and various regulatory commissions. Rosedale receives tremendous support from the floor-covering
industry and every application is successful

To meet the service requirements of its’ now rapidly growing customer base, Rosedale moves its operation from Hamilton to Mississauga. With this new warehouse, delivery zones are expanded to include most of southern Ontario
With the majority of carpet mills centered in Quebec, Rosedale is encouraged to open a second facility in Montreal, Quebec. This location offers transportation & distribution services to both Montreal and Quebec City, as well as providing single lane service to Ontario and the USA
Rosedale achieves success again with a truck once a week from Dalton, Georgia to Eastern Canada. To better serve this market, Rosedale opens a consolidation warehouse in Dalton called Carpet Consolidators of Georgia.

Rosedale purchases a company by
the name of North Georgia Shippers
to aid in expansion in the USA

North Georgia Shippers opens a
terminal in Minnesota

An additional warehouse in Ottawa is opened which enables Rosedale to offer an enhanced service standard in Eastern Ontario and the Ottawa Valley to its shippers in Ontario, Quebec and the USA
During the nineties, Rosedale continues to grow as an integral part of the Canadian floor-covering industry. Its services enable many manufacturers and distributors to close their remote warehouses and use Rosedale to provide just-in-time delivery services
Rosedale continues to expand in Canada with new terminals in Quebec City and London. The Company also introduces scheduled services to Western Canada, most Maritime points and the USA
The Mississauga head office holds the grand opening of its new, state-of-the-art facility. Additional services to the general freight industries are launched.

Granby, Edmonton and Calgary to better
serve the markets in each of these areas

Rosedale grows into Saskatchewan opening
two terminals: Saskatoon and Regina

Rosedale continues with their western expansion
with their 14th terminal location in Delta, BC

Rosedale moves into their newly built, company owned facility in Winnipeg, with over 6.5 acres
of land, easy access of all major highways and
lies within North America’s inland port and
Foreign Trade Zone, CentrePort Canada

Rosedale move into their new
facilities in Calgary and Ottawa

Rosedale opens up a location in Kelowna,
BC to better serve the Okanagan Region

Rosedale ownership invest in the future by obtaining Rosedale Montreal’s current location and purchasing land in Ottawa with a new facility planned, and obtaining permits to add onto the existing Head Office with bigger warehouse footprint and additional office space
